The Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company (MIDHCO) manages some of Iran's most significant, progressive, and value-creating industries. MIDHCO has expanded the creation of wealth and value, and takes steps toward the prosperity of Iran's national economy while decreasing the environmental consequences and observing intergenerational justice, using modern technologies and novel management practices. MIDHCO consist of 7 Production Complexes and 10 Service Companies, and its operation includes Mining & Metals, Engineering & R&D, Construction, Commerce & finance, ICT, and Logistics.

 

 

Products

Since the beginning of its operation in 2007, achieving an integrated production chain, from mine to metal was MIDHCO's objective, and now there is a full and integrated chain of production to produce 3 final metal products in MIDHCO, which are steel, copper and magnesium.

MIDHCO's products include 8 Mtpa of Iron Ore Concentrate, 7.5 Mtpa of Iron Ore Pellets, 3 Mtpa of DRI, 1.1 Mtpa of Coal Concentrate, 1.2 Mtpa of Coke, 400 Ktpa of Calcined Lime & Dolomite, 24 Ktpa of Ferrosilicon, 4.2 Mtpa of Steel Billet & Bloom, 50 Ktpa of Copper Cathode, 12 Ktpa of Copper Tubes, 500 MW Electricity, and 6 Ktpa of Magnesium.

MIDHCO, using its own manufacturing and engineering capabilities, has developed a full and integrated chain of products, from exploring and exploiting mines and manufacturing plants and operating logistics to, producing final products independently.
